We do highly recommend to keep salami in a cool, dry place - air ventilated area, best is to hang it in the air on the provided rope.
Make sure its out of the bag and not covered with anything. Salami could also be kept in the fridge, out of any bags, however it might get dry more quickly when kept in the fridge.
